Adding Features

To add a feature, you can use a marker to denote an individual spot, line, or a polygon to mark a region. To create a point:
  1. Click on the point tool Placemark tool.
  2. Select the type. Enter text to find an appropriate choice. 
  3. Click on the map. View imagery by selecting the Satellite or Hybrid views.
  4. Edit the attributes in the info window.
 
To create a line or polygon.
  1. Click the line tool Line tool or polygon tool Polygon tool.
  2. Select the type. Enter text to find an appropriate choice.
  3. Draw the outlines/boundary of the feature. View imagery by selecting the Satellite or Hybrid views.
  4. To cancel the drawing, press Esc at any time.
  5. Double-click to end the drawing. Alternatively, press Enter to end the drawing.
  6. Edit the attributes of the place of interest in the info window.
