Preschool 1 Overview
¨ Enter and exit water independently
¨ Blow bubbles
¨ Submerge face and hold breath
¨ Walk in chest deep water with arm pulls
¨ Front float with support
¨ Back float with support
¨ Flutter kick on front with support
¨ Flutter kick on back with support
¨ Front glide with support
¨ Back glide with support
¨ Jump into shallow water
¨ Introduction to reach and pull
¨ Personal safety and rescue skills
Preschool 2 Overview
¨ Put face in water comfortably, blow bubbles
¨ Submerge entire body
¨ Hold breath for 5 seconds
¨ Bob continuously 5 times
¨ Front float with assistance 5 seconds
¨ Back float with assistance 5 seconds
¨ Front glide 5 feet
¨ Back glide 5 feet
¨ Flutter kick on front and back
¨ Beginner stroke with support
¨ Intro to backstroke
¨ Personal safety and rescue skills

Preschool 3 Overview
¨ Blow bubbles
¨ Bob continuously 10 times
¨ Front float 10 seconds
¨ Front glide with kick 2 yards
¨ Back float 10 seconds
¨ Back glide with kick 2 yards
¨ Beginner stroke 5 yards
¨ Back stroke 5 yards
¨ Turn over

Preschool 4 Overview
¨ Jump into chest deep water and return unassisted
¨ Fully submerge 7 seconds
¨ Rotary breathing on wall 10 times
¨ Retrieve object from the bottom of the pool
¨ Kick on front 5 yards
¨ Kick on back 5 yards
¨ Crawl stroke 10 yards
¨ Back stroke 10 yards
¨ Kneeling dive
¨ Explore deep water
¨ Personal safety and rescue skills
Preschool 5 Overview
¨ Deep water bobbing
¨ Rotary breathing on wall 15 times
¨ Crawl stroke with rotary breathing 15 yards
¨ Backstroke 15 yards
¨ Reverse directions
¨ Jump in deep water
¨ Sitting, kneeling dive
¨ Tread water 1 minute
¨ Intro to fly/breaststroke
¨ Elementary backstroke 10 yards

Level 2 Overview

¨ Retrieve objects at bottom of pool
¨ Crawl stroke with rotary breathing 20 yards

¨ Beginning butterfly 10 yards
¨ Tread water 2 minutes
¨ Deep water bobbing
¨ Elementary backstroke 15 yards
¨ Kneeling, standing dives

Level 3 Overview
¨ Crawl stroke with bilateral breathing 25 yards
¨ Backstroke 25 yards

¨ Elementary backstroke 20 yards
¨ Standing dives
¨ Intro to sidestroke
¨ Intro to open/flip turns and streamline
