1. MEMBERS AND GUESTS USE THE POOL AT THEIR OWN RISK. This pool is not open to the public. Paid members only. 2. All members are responsible for their guests and their guests' actions. 3. Proper swim suits shall be worn. No cut offs or jeans in the pool. See lifeguard or Pool Manager if uncertain of swim wear. 4. Children using the wading pool must be accompanied by an adult or a lifeguard approved guardian. Tiny tots only, no one over 5 years old. 5. Admission will be refused to any person with an infectious disease, open sore or wound. 6. Showers are required for all swimmers before entering the pool. 7. No running or horseplay will be tolerated in the pool area. 8. Babies must wear clean cloth diapers and rubber/plastic pants. 9. Non-swimmers will not be allowed in deep end (past guard chairs). Definition: A non-swimmer cannot independently swim one complete length of the pool non-stop. 10. Non-swimmers under 6 must be one-on-one with an adult or guard-approved guardian and must remain in the shallow end. 11. No gum is allowed in the pool enclosure. 12. No smoking in the pool enclosure. 13. No intoxicating beverages or drugs allowed on pool premises or in the park. 14. No glass containers allowed in pool enclosure for your safety. 15. No toys or flotation devices in the main pool. 16. No loitering in pool office or restrooms. 17. Only employees are allowed behind the desk and in the filter room. 18. No animals are allowed in the pool enclosure or in the park. 19. Bathing caps are optional, however, we advise that long hair be bound or braided. 20. The lifeguard may remove anyone from the pool area for violation of these rules. In any situation the lifeguards have control and must be obeyed. 21. A signed permission slip must be on file at the pool for children who are using the pool under the supervision of persons other than their parents. If a person continually abuses these rules, endangers others, or otherwise becomes a nuisance, that person is subject to expulsion from the pool for a time to be set by the Pool Manager. In all cases where the offender is a minor a letter will be sent home explaining why the child is being expelled from the pool. The letter must be signed by a parent/guardian and returned to the Pool Manager.
