Profile Dr. Manu Lopus is a biomedical researcher at the laboratory of Professor Leslie Wilson and Dr. Mary Ann Jordan. His research areas are experimental cancer therapeutics and the mechanism of regulation of microtubule dynamics. Dr. Lopus received a doctorate in biotechnology (experimental cancer therapeutics) from the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, where he also received a Best Research Scholar Award for academic excellence and co-curricular activities. Dr. Lopus is a recipient of a Junior Scientist Award from the Association of Scientists of Indian Origin in America and an elected fellow of the United Kingdom’s Royal Microscopical Society. He is an associate editor of Biological and Biomedical Reports, and serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several scientific journals.
