Mano de Guerra Kali-Arnis-Escrima is a combat system developed by Grandmaster and founder Richard M. Guerra in 1970. He first began teaching it to his students in 1980 in his Wing Tsun Kung Fu classes. After a few years he held back the teachings of the blade until he carefully studied the character of the potential student. Grandmaster Guerra began doing this because he believed that to empower someone with knife skills could be dangerous if taught to the wrong individual. Only people with no criminal record can study the Mano de Guerra Kali-Arnis-Escrima system as it is not for play.
Recently Grandmaster and Founder Richard M. Guerra began to publicly teach the Mano de Guerra Kali-Arnis-Escrima combat system in Austin, Texas. The classes are growing, and this is the first Mano de Guerra Kali-Arnis-Escrima class since the first classes of the 1980s. The largest group of Mano de Guerra Kali-Arnis-Escrima students is located in Monterrey, Mexico. Grandmaster Guerra is also teaching military personnel and combat veterans the Mano de Guerra Kali-Arnis-Escrima combat system. MANO DE GUERRA KALI-ARNIS-ESCRIMA DVDS ARE NOW AVAILABLE! |
