Welcome to My Homepage
Feb 26: Just signed up with Google Pages. Going to give it a try to see how it works.
HOWTO: Create a web page with Google Pages.
1.) Click on Change Look tab and choose a look that amuses you. Don't worry about the content layout at this point and just concentrate on the colors and design.
2.) Once you have found your color combo that pleases your eyes it's time to think about the content layout. There are currently 4 options (but I am sure Google will keep adding to it).
- First: This is a basic layout (which is also used in this page your looking at). There are two contenet areas, one on top for the header and title of the website and one for the content. This layout could be used if you are planning on a small ittle website with just one page without a menu.
- Second: This is for the folks who want to go a little deeper into webdesign. This is pretty much similiar to the first one but here the content area has been divided into two, one for menu and the other for content. The menu side can have links to your other pages and the content area will contain the content for that page.
- Third: This is same as the second one but the menu section is brought over the right for that folks who like it that way.
- Fourth: This one is for you creative heads who want to revolutionize webdesign. Feel free to use this layout in whatever way you want. Please drop me a line with you web address where you used this layout.
3.) Now comes the fun part: Adding content. Click on the area where you want to add your content and start typing like you have never typed before. Feel free to throw in some links and images by clicking on the tabs on the left. The other tabs are
b: Bold. Hightlight the word or sentence you want to bold and click this button.
