Council purchased this property in 2006 (??) to add to community facilities available at Mangawhai. 

This is not part of the Domain, but access is via the Domain and the Domain Committee and Council have co-operated in several ways to make it more accessible and usable by the community.

At present the building is leased to Plunket for several purposes

and grounds are being used as below.
