This effort to seek community input for harmonizing Swahili localization terminology is organized by the Kamusi Project, with encouragement from the African Network for Localization, BAKITA, the Microsoft Local Language Program, and Google Africa.

The terms that appear in these lists are either (1) terms that have more than one possible Swahili equivalent, or (2) do not have any easy Swahili equivalents.
