Malaysia  lies at the heart of South East Asia and comprises  11 States in West Malaysia ( Peninsula ) and 2 more in  East Malaysia ( Sabah & Sarawak ).

West Malaysia  on the  Peninsula shares a land border on the north with Thailand and  is connected to the south with Singapore Island.

East Malaysia  across the South China Sea is located in  northern  Borneo, bordering Indonesia and  Brunei .
