I like the clarity of the writing on this website, especially on the History of Kites section.  You lay out some interesting appearances of kites throughout history that I have never heard before.  Your writing is also kept in short paragraphs which makes it easier for the reader to follow.  It may be worthwhile to insert headings to further improve the accessibility of the text.  You could divide the information into Origins, Asian expansion, and Western expansion.  You should also provide a link to the Uses of Kites section where you mention it in the text.  The beginner's guide to flying a kite you outlined in Assignment 2 will be a great addition to this site, and you should consider providing a link for this page onto the "buying a kite" page as a "next step."  This could develop into you linking the pages such that your website directly guides the visitor step by step from learning to flying.  Your home page is also clear and concise in its explanation of the site.  You should extend your introduction to inexperienced kite fliers by adding a sentence or a short list that explicitly lays out the steps your site provides for guiding someone into kite flying (choosing the right kite, how to fly a kite, safety measures, etc).  Keep up the good work.
