So Who Is This Jeff Guy?

About Me:

On The Quick Side... I was born in Southern California and made my way to Portland Oregon in 1978. I worked for my Father at Andrade's Custom Upholstery in Beaverton Oregon and operated my Home Based Business on the side. I met my wife Julie in 1979 and we dated for 5 years before she would marry me. Now happily married since September 1984 with two kids I love with all my heart.

My Story and how I started my business... If you really want to know.

The year is 1976...Cupertino California home of the Apple Computer and the start of my new business venture. It all started at Cupertino High School when a friend and I purchased a small bag of herbs. Do I need say more? We had a lot of friends that liked this type of herb. (you will become like the people you associate with) and by accident we made a nice little profit after sharing the herb and receiving a small contribution in exchange.

In 1978 I moved to Beaverton Oregon near Portland to help my Father relocate his business. I worked with him off and on as I worked at growing my herb business. In 1983 I met a police officer. I had long hair, red eyes and looking for a new legal business as well as looking to change my life. At the time I was not a person that this police officer wanted in his life and I did not want him in my life... however he had what I wanted. You see I was invited to an opportunity meeting and Mr. Police officer was on the board "Showing The Plan". Me with long hair and red eyes said YES! Sign Me Up!

(That day I went from selling dope to selling soap
)

I will never forget what Mr. Police Officer said... he told me as I am here to tell you... It don’t matter where you been… It matters where you want to go. The business changed my life. Books, Tapes, Seminars, Rallies and the Association with people that wanted more out of life. All that is good however I did not find the success that I was looking for with that business. So the search for the right business goes on...

Late night Infomercials:
Yes I bought them all... Anthony Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki, Carlton Sheets, Don Lapre (Don got my money and filed for bankruptcy), Russ Whitney (Russ was an expensive lesson) lets see... who else? Well you name it and I most likely bought it. You get the picture. What did you buy? Well I did make some good money with Real Estate and I also lost money.

Lets move on...

A bit about the Fam...

My Son Bryan has recently completed his Massage Training Program at East West Collage in Portland Oregon. He is now a Licensed Massage Therapist in Hillsboro Oregon USA

Give him a call when you are in the Portland / Hillsboro area or fly into the Hillsboro Airport in Washington County Oregon and get a massage. Let him know that you found him through his Dad's website.

My Daughter is now attending University of Oregon after two years at
Collage of the Redwoods in Eureka California. She enjoyed two years of traveling around with the girls playing softball and staying up all night... she must have been studying a lot... right - YES... I THINK SO!

Don't you think it would be a good idea if my kids told you a little bit about..."Who The Heck This Jeff Guy Is Anyway"? That way it’s not all about me giving you a bunch of fluff. Here’s what they have to say.

From the kids...

My Son Bryan:
As far back as I can remember my dad has been coaching me, as a father should, in the realm of business. Teaching me what I could grasp at the maturity of my age, my dad has been guiding me in a course of thought all my life that I plan to employ in my coming massage therapy career. That course of thought is born in the spirit of the entrepreneur. With that course of thought and that spirit, I am far more opportune to become a businessman than if I was left dependent on the education schools served me. With his guidance and support, I engaged in my first business venture at about age 6, going door to door selling chocolate covered mints to afford karate lessons. And now, finding myself at the eve of a massage therapy career, I recall a glass paperweight my dad has had for as far back as I can remember that says: "What You Dare To Dream, Dare To Do!"

My Daughter Stephanie:
Looking back on the way my parents raised my brother and myself, I've realized a few things. Like most parents, they always wanted to give us more than they had growing up, not just tangible possessions, but also experiences and opportunities. With giving me all these great things, he also taught me to appreciate all these things. Towards the end of the school year, when my friends and I would get antsy for the soon to come summer, he would tell me to pick any day I wanted off of school, and he would take me and a friend to the beach. Any day I wanted. The greatest part of his work is that he can really do what he wants, whenever he wants. This picture is from one of our annual beach trips when my friend Courtney and I were teaching my dad how to be cool. It came to him pretty naturally too. =). Throughout all the times he would give me great things, he would teach me how to be able to do these great things. Now, after working a normal job at Abercrombie, I can see why he loves doing what to he does.

Things I like to do...

One of my greatest things I love is driving around looking at Real Estate and riding my Black Lehman Suzuki Trike. Here are some pics of houses that I rent, bought and fixed up or had built... and a pic of my Trike.

That's it for now.
