We just threw in this page because everyone else has one. Honestly, there isn’t much to know about us. We are are a small group of friends that get together to write and produce short videos. After we’ve made a video we pat each other on the back and have some beers. The next morning we wake up still drunk exclaim something about “Brothers who died before us,” get some breakfast, and talk about how great it was that we made a “movie.” Nearly a month later we breach the topic of maybe showing our new movie to someone. It took more than a year before we got around to making this website. Which, we neglect and only think about right before we are about to pass out from consuming too much of "The Drink." Once in a great while some glimmer of pride strikes one of us and we burn a DVD or upload a video to youtube and show a couple of people the video. Normally the reply is “oh, so you guys were actually making a movie that weekend. I though you were . . . “ Shortly after we feel pretty good about ourselves, pat each other on the back, drink a few beers, and wake up still drunk to a script that we don’t remember writing. It's always sitting on the dining room table with a small note attached to the front by a small piece of gum, but the hand writing is illegible and normally the script doesn’t make any sense. So, we take the next few days to try to do what we can with the script while still staying true to the concept but sometimes we fail. Another fun fact, (and this is a TRUE story) we came up with our group name by putting down words we felt were “cool” on slips of paper while enjoying a bit of "The Drink." Once we ran out of papers Dusty took his hat from his head, slid all the words into the hat, and made everyone at the table promise that whatever two words he pulled out would be the name of the group. He pulled out the word “Makeshift” and the word “Contraption” and although there was some level of discontent among the group we all stuck to our promise. That was more than 2 years ago going on 3. We’ve lost a lot of friends since than. However, I don’t want to bore you with the details.
