Welcome to my website!

I am a PhD candidate at the European University Institute, Economics Department.  My research concentrates mostly in the area of micro - econometrics, both theory and its applications. On the methodological side
I am especially interested in semi- and non-parametric techniques, discrete choice modeling and psychometric tools (item response theory). My applied research includes (1) topics in the measurement of poverty and inequality, (2) the definition, genesis and effects of latent traits (e.g. happiness) and (3) the analysis of electoral behavior.
