MashaalMashaal is a theatre group formed by HDCites, who graduated from BITS, Pilani. The members are currently in Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune. Mashaal produced its first play - Saari Raat by Badal Sircar for Thespo Festival. Its second production Sifar was staged at Abhinaya - National Theatre Festival where it won the Best Play, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Lights Design. Mashaal's Kharaashein has won the third prize at the Admit One Theatre Festival and Pratyush Singh has got the Best Actor Award (2nd Prize). Mashaal's Bhadmanus was showcased at Thespo X. Bhadmanus was showcased at RangaShankara, Bangalore on 31st March, 2009. Other ActivitiesSamvaad - play readings. The last reading was on Nov 23rd, 2008 at CFD. Gulzar's (compiled by Salim Arif) Kharaashein was read. Sanchay - sketches. The last performance was on July 27th, 2008 at CFD . The theme for this Sanchay was "Sapne" .
