House Rules
Weapons of the Gods is a great game, but I do feel a few rules need to be changed to better suit my style of play.
Transcendent Destiny
Contrary to the Errata, a point of Transcendent Destiny cannot be exchanged for 5 normal Destiny.  This allows me to hand out Transcendent Destiny like candy without worrying about characters overwhelming the power curve, and focuses player attention on speeding up their training (which seems to be their primary focus in any case)

Blessed by the Gods
In addition to removing wound penalties when running away, Blessed by the Gods removes any penalty that applies to a roll that directly and immediately impacts survival.  It will not help you pick a lock to escape death row, but it will eliminate penalties when rolling to survive a nasty dose of poison.  Furthermore, should your character die despite Blessed by the Gods, you may instead sacrifice the advantage (losing those 8 points) and miraculously survive. (As it stands now, Blessed by the Gods does too little for its 8 points)

House Clarifications
Weapons of the Gods has many ambiguities in its rules.  While I believe the following are the "intention" of the game, they remain uncertain, and thus I spell them out.

Multi-Type Weapons
For weapons with multiple "types," the specific rules for a given type always apply when you use the matching skill.  Thus, a character with a Brutal/Ranged weapon counts his weapon as primarily Brutal when using Fight, and primarily Ranged when using Ranged.  This does not affect the use of Kung Fu, or prevent a character from attacking out to 10 yards with his Brutal/Ranged weapon.  It does, however, affect how the weapon is parried, and how it parries.  When using Ranged skill, your weapon parries and is parried as a Ranged weapon, and when using Fight, your weapon parries and is parried as a Brutal weapon (and the same applies to Melee and Artful weapons).  This reflects the multitude of stances associated with a complex weapon.  This also allows a character to get "the best of both worlds" with complex weapons, provided they invest in multiple skills.

Lore Sheets (Hat tip: Northern Bear)
A character who has spent destiny to learn a Lore Sheet may continue to study it after acquiring it.  Success refunds the points invested in the Destiny until the Destiny is finally "free."  This prevents players from waiting until a Lore is fully studied to purchase it, and allows those who eagerly learn a Lore earlier on to recoup their losses.  A character may only study one Lore per session.

Secret Arts
A character who chooses to use a Method for a Secret Art must use that Method for the full duration of the Secret Art.  A character who wishes to use Finger Gestures, for example, loses the use of a free hand and a free action for the duration of a scene (or whatever length of time he has chosen for his casting).  This applies in particular to Daoist Breath Sorcery or the Courtier Wisdom method, as the character must maintain that chi expense for the duration of his casting.
