Research Interests:
Primary Fields: Empirical Industrial Organization, Computational Economics
Secondary Field: Empirical International Finance
My primary research is in the field of industrial organization, particularly the industry dynamics and determinants of intensity of competition such as productivity, R&D, entry and exit. In recent years, I have worked on competition in retail food, R&D intensive manufacturing, and information technology (IT) services.
My secondary research is in the field of international finance with focus on exchange rates. I have examined the speed of convergence in real exchange rates.
