Beach Week
June 15-21, 2008
The week after the public schools let out, the Venture Crew had its own Beach Week down in the Outer Banks. Here we rented a beach house for our base of operation. We hung out on the beach, visited an aquarium, ate at awesome-good restaurants, watched a House marathon, and even played some Dungeons and Dragons.
One day, most of us kayaked, two of us went wind-surfing, and apparently none of us put on sunscreen. The next day was spent nursing our sunburns and watching a Lord of the Rings marathon.
