Mr. Moore's 4th Grade Home Page!

2008-2009

Welcome to the fourth grade!  We are going to have a very exciting and busy year.  We are going to be studying the history of Arizona and the people who live here.  We will doing a science project his year to introduce the scientific method.  We have weekly spelling tests on Friday with a spelling worksheet that is due the same day.  Students are required to read at least 20 minutes everyday as a part of homework.  Usually homework will not be assigned over the weekends unless there is a large project due that requires extra time.  I have high hopes and expectations for each and every one of my students to be successful.  Lets have a great year!  If you ever need to get ahold of me to ask questions please call me at 696-6456, or e-mail me at rmoore@amphi.com.  Durring class I will forward my phone but i try to check my messages as soon as i can.  If it is an emergency please contact the Walker office so they can get a hold of me.

About Mr. Moore

Update!

Week of January 5th-9th, 2009

Welcome back to school!  This week we are going to start up nice and easy back into the swing of things.  We re-created our set of classroom rules to remind everyone of their responsibilities and expectations durring the day.  We are continuing to work on our Opera with Dr. Rineheart and are looking to perform at the end of February.  This week we are going to create out own New Years Resolution or goals to carry us through the end of the school year.

Week of December 15th - 19th, 2008.

This is our last week of school for the year!  Just a reminder that this is a short week, Thursday will be the students last day at school before the Winter break.  This week we saw a holiday performance by Ms. Martinez and Mrs. Cunha's 1st grade classes.  They put on the Grinch and it was a wonderful job by all who where involved.  It will give us the inspiration that we need to begin work on our own Opera!
