Win a copy of an Italian Children's Book (2012)



Your challenge is to present your personal favourite cultural icon. 

Choose icons that are important to you.  There is no right or wrong. 

For example, I might choose:
  • Witchetty grubs
  • The AFL
  • The Nut at Stanley
  • Mem Fox
  • Sir Donald Bradman
  • The Big Banana
  • Gumleaves
  • Your grandma's famous pumpkin scones
  • Holden ute
  • Thylacine
  • The Great Barrier Reef
  • Kylie Minogue
How you choose to present your project is up to you:  It could be a poster, slideshow of photos, game, movie, song, story, book, pamphlet, play, piece of art...

You may submit a group or individual entry.

External judges from the Italian community will choose one winner based on 3 criteria (see me for a full rubric):
  1. How clear it is for an Italian to understand (e.g. correct Italian language, images)
  2. Creativity and originality
  3. Effort
The prize (apart from fame and ever-lasting glory) is a book from Italy.

The competition closes July 31, 2012, midnight Italian time!
