3rd Annual Madison Mohawk Boosters Golf Outing
The 3rd Annual Madison Athletic Boosters Golf Scramble will be taking place on September 24, 2011 at Weatherwax Golf Course! Shotgun start is at 1:30 pm. Cost is $85 per golfer/$340 foursome. All proceeds will go to benefit the Madison Mohawk Athletic Boosters Scholarship fund that awards scholarships to graduating seniors every year. The spring season is winding down and both the Boys Baseball and Girls Softball teams have had great seasons! The Girls have won the SWBL League Championship and are seeded #1 in tournament play which will begin Wednesday May 12 with a game at home.
The boys also had a good season placing 3rd in the league and garnering a #4 seed in the tournament. Their first game will also be at home on Monday May 10.
Plan on coming out to cheer on our Mohawks! WIN!!

The Madison Mohawk Boosters is sponsoring a $1,000 scholarship for a graduating Madison senior who has participated in at least one Varsity sport. Applications are in the guidance office and are to be returned to the guidance office by April 30, 2010. Pick up an application today and don't forget to apply! |

4:30 pm at the school!
Wear your Mohawk colors and cheer them home!
They plan on leaving Columbus by 2:30.....you may want to come a little ahead of 4:30 just in case they are early!
Line the driveway from West Alexandria Road coming into the school! They will be escorted home all the way from Columbus by the Butler County Sheriff Department! They will exit I75 at Rt. 123 and follow the same route home that they did when they left!
Plan to come and let the ladies know how proud we are of them! |

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Basketball team for an amazing season! Thank you for providing us with non-stop excitement and one of the best basketball seasons in the history of our school district! YES....! ROADTRIP to Columbus!
In one of the most exciting games in Mohawk history, our LADY MOHAWKS defeated the Versailles Tigers in DOUBLE OT to earn their very first STATE appearance!
WAY TO GO LADIES.....Madison Township is so proud of you!
The Mohawks will face Ironton at 1pm on Thursday March 18 at the Jerome Schottenshein Center at Ohio State University. I will post ticket info as soon as I can.

What an exciting week to be a Mohawk!
Keep up the good work........and go get 'em!
Come and cheer on the girls this Saturday as they enter the REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP game against Versailles. Tickets on sale now for $6 at the school! Game will be at 1pm at Springfield High School. Send the Lady Mohawks to STATE!
Then keep the spirit flowing and follow the Boys to the Regional Semi-Finals on Wednesday at 8pm at Kettering Fairmont High School as they take on Taft. RED OUT for both games! Tickets available at the school!
Thanks to all the fans...students, parents and the community for the outstanding show of support this season! I know our athletes really appreciate it!

The Athletic Boosters is hosting its first annual Drawdown Dance on Saturday March 27 at 7pm at the Middletown Sportsman's Club on Michael Rd. Cost of the ticket is $20 which will give you entrance to the dance, snacks, 2 beverage tickets and entry into the drawdown. Top prize will be $1,000 followed by a 2nd prize of $500 and a 3rd prize of $250. There will also be Monte Carlo, raffles and door prizes.
Help us raise funds and celebrate our successful sports season! Winners do not need to be present....so if you can't attend, you can still get in the drawing! All proceeds will benefit the Booster Club.
To purchase tickets, please see Jane Tipton, Beth McGuire, Rick Clark, Angie Whiteman or Julie Conley. You can also purchase tickets at the Athletic Office.

Congratulations to both Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball teams as the boys captured the Sectional Championship Title on Friday night at UD Arena against Badin and the Girls won the District Championship Title against Madeira on Saturday! Plan to continue cheering on the Mohawk winning ways this week as the Girls face Africentric in the Regional Semi Finals at Springfield High School Wednesday at 6:15. The Boys will play for the District Championship Thursday at 8:30 pm at UD Arena against Schroeder. WEAR RED and CHEER LOUD!
