Madhurya currently lives in San Diego where he moved in February of 2008 to join L-3 DPCS (Dynamic Positioning and Control Systems) as a Software Engineer. It appears that he is having a blast in the great weather of San Diego as well as enjoying the exciting work of designing and developing a complex control system for marine vessels. He acquired the necessary skill set by attending Texas A&M University, College Station and obtaining the degree of Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering in December of 2006. There, he received excellent guidance from his adviser Dr. John Junkins, who not only introduced him to the challenging Dynamics & Controls area of Aerospace Engineering but also worked closely with him to help him get practical experience with projects like uXv (control of a team of omni-directional robots) and Robotic Arm Control.

Born and brought up in the capital city Gandhinagar of Gujarat state in India, he earned his degree of Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Nirma Institute of Technology, Ahmedabad in June 2004. After quenching his thirst to understand internals of the fascinating world of Information Technology, he decided to pursue his dreams of being instrumental in Space Exploration, which brought him straight to the wonderful Aggieland (the TAMU campus in College Station), HOT weather and friendly residents of which made him feel right at home.

His vision in life is to use all his skills to contribute towards future space exploration and help mankind to not only know it's neighbors well but also go much beyond 1AU from the sun.
