Fergus was the first born in our first litter, our first homebred Champion, and first group placing dog (he earned his championship and his first group placement all on the same day at the age of 16 months.)  Fergus never really liked showing that much, so we didn't special him, but he still managed to do a bit of winning in his day including several group placements.   Retired from any serious competition by the time he was 4 years old, Fergus still makes an annual appearance at our Specialty show were he is a crowd favorite in Veteran Sweepstakes.  He can still put on a show, and has won the event a couple of times, even though he is often the oldest in the competition.

Where Fergus has really made his mark is in the whelping box.  He sired six litters producing seven AKC Champions, earning him the Register of Merit title with the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club of America.  His offspring and "grandpups" include some top winners, several obedience competitors, and (we are most proud of) a couple of certified therapy dogs.  Thank you to those breeders who appreciated Fergus enough to use him on their bitches.   Please view our photo album to see pictures of Fergus's kids.
