2011 BOSTON TERRIER CLUB OF AMERICA NATIONAL SPECIALTY, APRIL 11TH - 15TH, 2011 Just returned home from a great week at our first Boston Specialty show. Boy was it a busy week - I think we were going from 6 am to midnight every day! Porkchop showed a total of six times between Sweepstakes, Futurity and Regular classes. She showed really well, and made the cut twice in very large classes. We didn't get any ribbons but I was pleased that she got some looks. We also received many nice comments about her from other breeders. The big news was Tegan and I in agility! We had four runs over two days and qualified three out of the four with first place each time! Even better, Tegan earned her first title, "Novice Agility Dog" (NA)!! We had a wonderful time and have many new friends in the Boston community. Check out more Specialty photos and videos on our Boston Terriers page. TEGAN'S FIRST AGILITY TRIAL, MARCH 26, 2011 Our first agility trial could not have gone any better! Tegan won first place in both of her runs with scores of 95 in Standard and 100 in Jumpers and first place in both classes! Best of all, we met lots of nice (and helpful) people, ran into some old friends, and had a great time. Can't wait to do it again! PUPPIES ARRIVED JULY 20, 2010 Two girls and a boy were born July 20, 2010. Tegan free whelped all three with no difficulties. The only (small) problem was that they were born 5 days early, with no indication that whelping was imminent. The humans involved were not ready, so this sent everyone into a small panic! Thank you so much to Kelly Estes for all her help and advice and for taking such good care of Tegan and her babies for the first two weeks. Tegan is a great mommy! COLLIN NATASHIA PORKCHOP MAY 2010 - TEGAN WENT TO VISIT Am/Can Ch Bramley's Brigadoon, ROM This is Briggs at 9 years old For more about "Briggs," please visit http://pnwbostons.com/briggs.html |
