Homework Assignments: Updated March 12, 2012          Le Concour d'art oratoire   All students will be completing a 3-5 minute speech on a topic of their choice to present in class. Students who wish to participate in the speak-off this year will be able to use this speech for the school speak-off to qualify for regionals on  March 17th at Ascension Collegiate. The in-class speeches will be graded as a major project.   Below is the process and websites recommended to assist you with your speech:   Choose a topic Research your topic Search the necessary vocabulary on www.wordreference.com or http://www.le-dictionnaire.com/ Verify your verb conjugations on http://www.les-verbes.com/ Verify your grammar on www.bonpatron.com Have a classmate proof-read your speech Verify your prononciation on www.forvo.com Time you speech to ensure that it falls between 3-5 minutes. Make additions/corrections/modifications Present your speech with enthousiasm!
