About the program

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports ( PBIS) is a comprehensive
3-tiered  approach to implementing positive and consistent student discipline
systems in schools and preschools.

This school-wide initiative began in the fall of 2005 at McClelland when the staff
voted to commit to a three year involvement with PBIS. Since then staff members have
been working with consultants from NH Center for Effective Interventions and Supports
to acknowledge children for positive Mighty Mac behaviors in all areas of the school.
