Mens Ministry opportunities fall into four categories: Men's Bible Study, Service, Trips & Excursions, and Special Events.

Men's Bible Study
- When: Each Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m.
- Where: Wesley UMC (1212 West Calhoun St.).
- Who: This is open to all men.
- Leader: Buzz Hoon.
- We plan to start a new 8-week Bible Study on Sept. 6 (through Oct. 25).
- We plan to start a new 8-week Bible Study on Nov. 1 (through Dec. 20).

Service
- Mark Your Calendar - November 15 (Sunday) is the Leaves for Loaves and Fishes service project. We need your help raking leaves and hauling leaves to the city's yard-refuse area.
- Upcoming...We are looking into starting a New Commandment Men’s Ministry. This ministry helps churches recruit, train, organize and deploy teams of men that permanently adopt the widowed, single parents and others with long term needs in their church and community.

- Thanks to all who helped with our roofing project!! Thanks to Don Greer for heading up the project.
- We are looking into the possibility of attending New Commandment Men's Ministries meeting/celebration in Springfield, IL on Saturday, November 14, 2009, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. New Commandment Men’s Ministry.

- We are open to your ideas (such as a canoe trip or baseball outing).
