Parapsychology Research & Resources

Machina Labs Research:

We are currently doing research into mind-matter interactions, such as using biofeedback-style computer interfaces coupled with Geiger-Muller counters.

Here is the data from a series of ESP experiments using Russel Targ's ESP Trainer app for iPod, in graphical form:

Outside Research:

Here is a collection of research from the past half-century of psi research.

Anyone who says, "Psi experiments have never been published in a peer-reviewed mainstream scientific journal," is flat-out lying or unaware of the evidence, in both cases the statement is unacceptable.

Meta-Analysis of Free-Response Studies, 1992–2008:
Assessing the Noise Reduction Model in Parapsychology
http://www.psy.unipd.it/~tressold/cmssimple/uploads/includes/MetaFreeResp010.pdf
This recent analysis was published in the July 2010 (issue 4, vol 136) of the Psychological Bulletin, a peer-reviewed academic journal sponsored by the American Psychological Association. This pdf also includes Ray Hyman's criticism, and a reply by Storm et al, published in the same issue, giving a full perspective on the Ganzfeld Telepathy debate.

Storm et al's analysis builds upon a prior analysis by Daryl Bem and Charles Honorton in 1994, also published in the Psychological Bulletin.

Does Psi Exist?:
Replicable Evidence for an Anomalous Process of Information Transfer

Psychological Bulletin, 115(1), 4–18. doi:10.1037/0033-2909.115.1.4

Which, in turn, builds upon the Ganzfeld experiments conducted in the 1970's and 80's. These early experiments received much criticism from skeptics, giving rise to many procedural improvements and standards set forth to ensure that future Ganzfeld experiments are conducted to the highest standards of scientific rigor. These critiques can be found here, if you have access to journals:

Hyman, R., & Honorton, C. (1986). A joint communique´: The psi ganzfeld controversy. Journal of Parapsychology, 50, 351–364.
(Unfortunately, I can't find a link to the full text right now, and there may not be one on the net)

And some RNG PK to round it out:
Examining psychokinesis: The interaction of human intention with random number generators- A meta-analysis.

(2006).  Psychological Bulletin, 132, 497-523

Gosh, for "no scientific evidence," that's sure a lot of experiments published in scientific papers...

That's on top of the hundreds of papers published in parapsychology-specific journals such as the Journal of Parapsychology. For some reason, (pseudo)skeptics make it a point of contention that most parapsychology experiments are published in parapsychology journals (which agreeably are not as mainstream) in order to imply that it is this walled-in community of pathological scientists, even though chemists publish journals in chemistry journals, physicists publish in physics journals, neuroendocrinologists in neuroendocrinology journals, etc. But alas, we parapsychologists DO squeeze the occasional paper into a "big" journal like PB or Nature, though the publishers usually include a knee-jerk criticism paper by a skeptic, lest they look soft.

Library of Exploratory Sciences:
http://www.lexscien.org/lexscien/index.jsp
An expansive database on parapsychology. Abstracts are free with simple registration, however, full articles require a paid subscription.

These articles are for free usage only, you may not sell or redistribute them. They are all available for free from various websites, I have just made the best more easily available to you. I obtained all of these for free somewhere on the internet, so I am assuming they are already released, however, if I get copyright complaints, I will gladly take them down.

Important People of Parapsychology:
