The Machias Valley Farmers' Market will start in early May.
Look for vendors on Rte. 1 near the farmers' market sign on the dike, across from Helen's.
Watch for the seasonal progression of annual bedding plants, hanging baskets, hardy perennials, vegetable seedlings, beet greens, peas, cukes, tomatoes, blueberries, winter squash, cranberries and a whole lot more. Remember to buy local this year!

Beginning In May!
The market will officially be open 10 - 4 on Fridays and
9 - 1 on Saturdays.
Some vendors will be there daily during plant season and blueberry season.
Don't forget to ask your grower about their market schedule. Get locally grown plants and proper varieties of plants adapted to our area.
Get fresh locally grown produce.
Call your favorite local grower and ask them to bring you the Item you desire right to the market.
Get plants & produce not available in supermarkets.
Money spent at the market stays in the area.
Supporting local businesses Is a win win deal for everyone .
Also it's more fun. Producers and customers get to know each other. People see friends and have a chance to chat.
Local civic groups are invited to use a table to do infomational displays, raffles, bake sales, fundraisers etc.
