We need to use verbs if we are going to be effective communicators in any language. French, of course, is no exception. As with any language learned in addition to one's native tongue, a lot of study is required if one is to reach one's potential. One of the main areas of language learning that dictates whether a student will achieve the progress of which they are capable or not is verb knowledge. In this section, I have gathered together some of the most important verbs in French, as well as notes on the main verb tenses and ideas covered in the Ontario Curriculum - Core French for Grades 6-8.
