office: (303) 839-6051
My Current Research Interests:
I am currently working on several projects for the physicians in my office. These include work on osteochondral lesions of the talus, distal femoral stem replacements and work on limb extension for amputees.
My Past Research Interests:
Comparison of Varus and Neutral Resection Angles for Primary Total Knee Arthroplasty - I did my master's work under Dr. Roy Bloebaum at the University of Utah on helping improve the longevity of
total knee replacements. I researched the effects of cutting the
tibia plateau with the varus angle for patients with varus knees as opposed to
cutting the plateau so that the revised tibial components will be perpendicular
to the long axis of the tibia. (2006-2008) Effect of Environmental Conditions on Mechanical Properties of Gamma Radiated Crosslinked Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene - Case Western Reserve University under Dr. Clare Rimnac, Musculoskeletal Mechanics & Materials Laboratory (2005-2006)
