ERIN REYNOLDS
KUTZTOWN, PA (December 7, 2010) – For their outstanding play this season, Erin Reynolds and Jenna Gregory of the Kutztown University field hockey team have been named to the womensfieldhockey.com Division II All-American team. (CLICK HERE FOR COMPLETE TEAM)
A first-team selection, Reynolds played far above expectations in just her freshman year. She was also selected to the All-Rookie team.
In the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), Reynolds was also a first-team selection and was awarded the Eastern Division Freshman of the Year. She was tied for sixth in the PSAC in assists (7) and was sixth in assists per game (0.37) as she finished second on the Golden Bears in both categories. Her 17 points were tied for third on the team. Reynolds finished with five goals this season.
Gregory was selected as a second-team All-American as she was a major threat for the Golden Bears on offense. Gregory led KU in scoring this season as she had 11 goals and was 10th in the PSAC in goals scored per game (0.58). Gregory was also fifth in the PSAC in assists (eight). Along with having two game-winning goals, one of Gregory's top games this season was against Seton Hill when she had two goals and two assists in a 7-3 victory.
