Mr. Picano Fine Arts Director passed out  an Upcoming Band Events flyer to the parents who attended the Lynn Band Booster meeting.

 

1: May 17 Jazz Band @ Lynch Park LEHS Approx 11AM

 

2: May 20th 7PM... @ Breed Middle School   High School and Middle School Instrumental Concert

 

3:  May 24th Somerville Parade LEHS approximate meeting time 11AM

 

4: May 25th Lynn Memorial Day Parade... approx 12:00 Noon Shaws

 

5: May 27th 7PM All City Elementary Concert ( We will need HIgh School Band Members to help)

 

6: Banquet ... TBA

Band Parent Rob Dorson is requesting volunteers for the Lynn Band Canning Days scheduled for May 13- May 17,2009. Any interested parents who wish to volunteer their time for the benefit

of the Lynn Band Booster Program send Mr Dorson an email NERDYD@AOL.COM.

The Lynn High School Band Boosters will be convening a meeting on:

The Agenda for the Meeting Is the Canning that we have schedule in May

 

We need Parents to volunteer to help drive around and supervise routes and to also to CAN in the streets of Wyoma Square

 Free Concert at Lynn City Hall Memorial AUditorium February 9,2009 7:00 P.M.- Doors open at 6:30 PM

Please contact the Office of Veterans Services at 781-586-6911 to reserve tickets. First come,first serve

We have been given permission to set up a Bake Sale Table at the Lynn Memorial Auditorium for certain events. The first event wiill be this Saturday Night (November 29) when the Group " Blessid Union of Souls" will be in Concert to kick off their new album. We have the Parents that will man the tables, but we need ALL parents to contribute baked goods for this sale to be successful.

 

We need each Student ( Parent) to provide a minimum of 24 Individually wrapped servings of baked goods. For example,one serving would be: 3 Cookies or one Brownie or one cupcake,etc. You get the idea,But Please be sure to wrap each servings INDIVIDUALLY in Saran Wrap,Zip Lock Bags,etc.

 

Students should bring these baked goods to big lots on Friday night when we meet for caroling and give them to Mrs. Stonkus.

The Lynn Public School Band Boosters needs additional help to make your Children's short time in the Lynn School Band as rewarding as possible. Some of the ways PArents can assist are:

 

        1: Assist in Driving for the Upcoming Christmas Caroling

 

        2: Selling programs at Football Games.

 

        3: Attending Band Boosters Meetings
