The Lynn Live Oaks were founded in 2005 as an offshoot of the Essex Base Ball Club and are sponsored by the Danvers Historical Society. The name the “Lynn Live Oaks” is a team that existed in 1877. The Lynn Live Oaks joined the New England Vintage Base Ball League in 2005 and has traveled throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, and Connecticut, playing & promoting vintage base ball.
