"Salisbury, England, 29 October 1916 Dear Andy, Just a P.C. to say have arrived safely here. We arrived at Plymouth on the 24 of Oct. and are in camp on Salisbury Plain. This is not up to much of a camp it is not as good at Trentham. It is a bit cold here now but I have plenty of blankets and am never cold at night. I don't think it will be long untill we go to the Front the Fifteenths were gone before we got here. I haven't got much to write about. Remember me to Mrs Scriminger and May. I remain yours sincerely H Maxwell"
