AUSTRALASIA BIRTHS, DEATHS & MARRIAGES EXCHANGE
A site where you can trade information and/or documentation at no cost. Not a lot of records on there yet but it's a marvellous concept.
BIRTHS, DEATHS & MARRIAGES online! Recommended
A great site for family historians! However, there are shortcomings. There's no 'wildcard' search so you must be precise with your spelling and try different (phonetic) variations if nothing comes up. Regarding dates, only years are shown but they can be broken down to the exact date: Once you've found your person, do a re-search from 01/06/xxxx to 31/12/xxxx. If nothing comes up, you know the event occurred in the first six months so do a re-search from 01/01/xxxx to 30/06/xxxx, and so on. Just keep breaking it down. Once you find the exact month, you can break down the days in much the same way and eventually you'll arrive at one date.
