At our AGM on 8 January 2012, the unanimous decision was taken to close the Association after 2012 hosting, as a new Committee could not be formed.  A Special General Meeting will be held, probably in May 2012 to formally publish the Books and to deal with any financial surplus and to agree how Lympstone twinning will continue.

A suggestion that an informal Secretary of Lympstone Twinners, might be forthcoming to be a focal point for the receiving and sharing of information, operate a website and to liaise with the Parish Council who remain as co-signatory to the Charter was floated.

Personal twinning exchanges will undoubtedly continue, but on an ad hoc individual self-funded  basis.   However, group activity may survive via  Lympstone Twinners
