Pollution Punchcard - Safe Routes to School Spring Contest Are you concerned about global warming? Creating healthy lifestyle habits for your child? Do you want to take small steps to make a difference? Join the fun of the Pollution Punchcard contest and win prizes for walking, biking, scootering, carpooling or bussing to school. The Safe Routes to School Spring Contest begins Friday, March 27 and continues every Friday ending May 8. Every Friday volunteers will be posted at the entrances to the school to punch the kids cards. The contest runs for 6 weeks. A card full of 4 punches qualifies a student to enter their name into a raffle. The grand prize is a new Marin bike! If kids complete all 6 weeks of the contest they submit 2 cards and have twice the chance of winning! The drawing will take place at the Kermes Festival in May. The goal of the Spring Contest is to make walking, biking, scootering, or carpooling to school a habit! Friday will continue to be Walk and Roll to School Day for the rest of the year! Volunteers are needed to help in the mornings. Please call Michelle Camicia at 415-883-3347 or mcamicia@yahoo.com if you are able to help, or if you have any questions.
