Sun: We pray for a safe trip for Pastor & Earlene, as they go to Arizona for his Aunt’s funeral.
Mon: Pray for all graduates.
Tues: Leslie needs prayer to have her medications adjusted, as she has many side effects.
Wed: Pray for all with problems and grief, to strengthen their faith in Christ, and not lose their faith.
Thurs: Please pray for Gary Kurswell and family, a relative of Lynne’s, who is nearing his final day.
Fri: Pray for our country.
Sat: Pray for our men and women in the military.

We thank the Lord for a successful second school semester. Please pray for all staff and students during these last two weeks of school before the summer vacation. Please also pray about the many events coming in June. In addition to the national elections there will be the teacher and staff week-long fellowship and refresher course, and preparation for the Teacher Training Courses in July.

This week, please pray for the Kobon Living Word School at Yern, for teachers Dickson Aron and Augustin Sailas, and for all the students.

Adult Vacation Bible School

Shepherd of The Valley is hosting adult vacation Bible School.

It will be held June 11th-June 14th, at 9am t0 11:30 am.

"Based on the peace that God Promised"

Feature are speakers on medical, wineries, finance and earthquake preparedness.

  

 

 

Memorial Day Program and BBQ

We will be having a Memorial Day Service around the flagpole and BBQ, right after church, on May 27th.

 

 

Movie Night will be held on Fri., May 25th, at 6 pm.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Men and Women's Bible Studies 

  will be resuming in the fall. 

 

Grief Share

Grief Share meets every Friday, at 2:15 pm.

 

 

 

Grief Share is a grief recovery support group. Through videos and discussion we learn to walk the journey of grief and support eachother on the way. It is a place where hurting people find healing and hope. We meet every  Friday at 2:15pm at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. It is on 56095 Pena Rd., in Anza.  WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

 Wednesday morning Bible Study will resume September 7th, at 10:00 AM. Men and women will meet together for a study of The Apostle' Creed. The women will be deciding soon what they will study when that is completed. We encourage everyone to join the group and bring a friend with you. The discussions are lively and the prayer support is beyond words. Please come!
