Lucy Sheen was born and orphaned in Hong-Kong. Adopt by an English family in the late fifties early sixties. Lucy trained at The Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama. Her first professional engagement was the female lead in the ground breaking feature film PING PONG (1987) directed by Po Ch'ih Leong. This was the first British film to focus on the issues facing the British-Chinese community. Since then Lucy has worked extensively in Film, TV, Theatre, Radio, Commercials, Corporate training, Forum Theatre and more recently as a Drama Support Tutor.
After nearly thirty years of vocational experience Lucy is developing her skills and interest in writing, currently working on three very unique projects. Lucy is also the founder and Managing Director of @ctors Business a new creative initialisation service, which she hopes will develop into a full creative service organisation. Providing support, advice and consultancy to SMEs, BMEs, Sole traders, independent arts organisations and professional arts individuals. Combining vocational arts experience with corporate know how. One of the primary aims for Lucy and @ctors Business will be to champion and promote British-Chinese artistic talent. |
