Sponsorday Event comfirmed for Sunday, June 28

Driving will begin at 9:00 am. Passengers should wear long pants, comfortable shoes and have a long sleeve shirt or jacket. I will supply a helmet. Access to the track is free for the day and once you get through the main gates, go under the tunnel that takes you in the main parking area and you will see the main building complex. You should park where you can and then come to the pitbox building and look for garage number 7 where we are setting up our hospitality reception with food and drinks. The weather forecast is uncertain for Sunday but the event is on even if it rains.

The annual "Sponsordag" has been scheduled for June 28 and I will participate at the event with the rest of the Dutch Caterham Racers

New Car Specs

The car has now been modified to a more aggressive ride setup. That includes race-spec tires, harder shock springs, rear anti-roll bar, stiffer front anti-roll bar, race-spec brake pads and lower ride. The exhaust has also been modified for better ground clearance and the headlights were removed. We had two test days at Zandvoort and the improvements are very noticeable. In cold weather and with a damp track, my lap times went down by 3 seconds compared to my average times in warm and dry conditions with the old setup..
