I am the Lumley Research Fellow and Director of Studies in Philosophy at Magdalene College, Cambridge. I am also an affiliated lecturer in the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. I came to Cambridge in 2005 to read for an MPhil at St John's College, for which I was awarded the Matthew Buncombe Prize. I then stayed on to write my Phd thesis, entitled 'Set Theory: Its Justification, Logic, and Extent'. It was supervised by Michael Potter and Peter Smith, and examined by Hannes Leitgeb and Alex Oliver. My main research interests lie in the philosophy of mathematics, logic and language.
