Reviews

Masterful and profound, Laurence Traiger's “Aliyat” penetrates the listeners'
consciousness with dramatic rigor and brilliantly dominated richness of color.

Ostthüringer Zeitung April 23, 2011

The last premiere of American was a contribution by Laurence Traiger. His work "Aliyat"is a             meditation on death and what happens to the soul. It is based on the mystical tradition of                 theJewish faith. Meditation is a fundamental concern of every religion and is amplified and             intensified by the human voice. In this vein Traiger wrote the composition for soprano voice
and orchestra, reaching the listener with a profound unity of musical and spiritual intensity.

Osterländer Volkszeitung April 27, 2011

...Laurence Traiger showed instrumental color complexes in daring progressions and                         rhythmic combinations.

Thüringische Landeszeitung April 23, 2011
