• Unity Jam 2011 will be held in October. Proceeds from the event benefit the Unity Jam Scholarship Fund and a selected charity.

• A canned food drive is also held with the event, giving a $1 discount to attendees who donate a canned good. All collected goods are donated to the St. Francis House.

• Organizations that participate share in the publicity of the event. Participating organization names are placed on all fliers and advertising materials.

• Participating organizations receive a determined amount of discount tickets as a token of appreciation for their participation.

• Participating organizations are given say in the logistics of the event, including theme, flier designs and music.

• Organizations participate by making a $100 contribution to the event and have the option of being reimbursed for a portion of the $100 contribution.

• The event attracts the attention of several sponsors and national coverage.
