Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. was established in 1975 as the first Latina sorority catering to Latinas and the Universal Woman. We currently have over 100 undergraduate, graduate and alumnae chapters. These chapters span over 20 states and Puerto Rico. Since our establishment, we have introduced our organization to more than 5,000 women. Lambda Theta Alpha has been recognized as Organization of the Year by the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO).
The Notorious Chi Chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc., was founded at the University of Florida on March 17, 1996.
