 Maria C. Gonzalez
Catano, PR Maria is the Co-Editor of her high school's newspaper as well as the Editor-in-Chief of the high school yearbook. She is also involved in her school's youth group and is a piano student at the Puerto Rico Music Conservatory. Maria is also a published columnist in Puerto Rico's leading national newspaper, El Nuevo Dia and a reporter for the teen magazine, Logon. Maria will be attending Cornell University.
 Jace M. Ross
Chicago, IL Jace has served two terms as the Teen President for Jack and Jill of America - Lake Shore Chapter. She has also participated in the 07-08 Chicago Marathon, the 08-09 United Negro College Fund Walk-a-thon, the Share Your Soles Foundation, and many more! Jace has won the 2008 Teen Excellence Award from the Chicago Urban League, has attended the Washington D.C., Summit on the Hill, and has helped petition Congress to pass House Bill 48. Jace will be attending The Fashion Institute of Technology, NY.
Idiz is involved in her high school as part of the National Honor Society, the Spanish National Honor Society, the International Thespian Society, and the West Boca Varsity Volleyball Team. She is also involved in Relay for Life and Troop Support. Idiz has been awarded the Career Pathways Distinguished Scholars Registry Award as well as the President's Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence. Idiz will be attending Florida State University. Each winner will be receiving a $600 scholarship.
