The London School of Speech was founded in Chennai in 1972, by the late Mr Vergis T. Alexander. Since 1975 the School has been located in Bangalore. Over the years the School has helped thousands of students of various nationalities and backgrounds to improve their language skills and gain increased confidence in their abilities.

The Principal, Mrs Elizabeth Gajendran, has a Teachers' Diploma in Speech and Drama, as well as a Diploma in the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language, from Trinity College (London).
