ABOUT US
Law Students for a Just Community was incorporated on 6 February 2007, although it has been active in some form since 2005, when the first LSJC Conference was hosted by law students from Victorian universities. In 2006, the LSJC Conference was hosted by Sydney University and the ANU in Canberra, and this year the event is being organised by law students from Flinders and Adelaide Law Schools. As an incorporated organisation, Law Students for a Just Community is made up of a Core Collective – an annually composed committee comprised of law students from the host state and responsible for the organisation of the conference. All decisions regarding LSJC are reached democratically by the Core Collective. LSJC also has a national network of general membership. |
