Announcements:OMEA STATE LARGE GROUP ADJUDICATED EVENT:Congratulations to the Waynesville HS Concert Band on earning an Excellent rating at contest on May 5th! MARCHING BAND 2012 FORMS: The order form for marching band supplies, deposit, and contact information is now available on the Marching Band page! BAND BOOSTER MEETING: The next Band Booster meeting is on Tuesday, May 7th at 7pm in the middle school conference room. All are welcome to attend!HS OMEA SOLO & ENSEMBLE CONTEST:On Saturday, January 28, 2012, students from Waynesville High School performed solos or were part of an ensemble at the District 13 Solo and Ensemble Contest held at Wilmington High School. The Waynesville Band Boosters awarded these musicians for all of their efforts with a gift card drawing from the WLS Scrip program – Kayla Theis won a $50.00 gift card, Jordan Moore won a $25.00 one, and the rest all received $10.00 gift cards! Congratulations to everyone who worked hard to display how truly talented our musicians are!  MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND INFORMATION:Students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades can access the Middle School Guidelines for Band on the Middle School's page! Live music will be provided by both the Waynesville Spartan Steel Drum Band, and the Waynesville Jazz Band!
