Franz "Herb" Dettmer was a dear friend to my family and to a lot of other AFTAC families so I'm very sad to pass along this news:  Darlene & I just received a message from Cathy Zahm, another of Herb Dettmer's daughters, telling us that Herb passed away this morning.  She said that services will be held on Tuesday, 24 Nov (time not set yet) at the same church where Jane's services were held a few years ago and where Herb & Jane attended church for many years.  That Church is next to the Grange Hall in the 58xx block of Walnut in Orangevale.  Our prayers are with all of the Dettmer family at this sad time.
UPDATE: 11.18, Services will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at 10am at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Orangevale, CA.
