The LPTO is a non-profit organization engaged in the pursuit of improving the technology and environment for the students at L'Ouverture Computer Technology Magnet Elementary School. The L'Ouverture PTO was established in the Fall of 1988, and is comprised of an Executive Committee, a Board, and the General Membership.
The Executive Committee consists of elected officers. The officers for 2009-2010 are:

We are in no way associated with the national Parent Teacher Association, which charges fees and dues.
We consider every parent, grandparent or caregiver of any of our students members of the LPTO. As such, we also feel that it is your right to know about the ongoing business of the LPTO. If you would like a copy of our current month's Income and Expense Comparison, please send or leave a written request, addressed to the attention of the LPTO, with your child's teacher or in the office and we will be sure you get a copy within the week.
